The article examines existing methods for assessing the homogeneity of feed mixes in industry and agriculture. As an alternative to approaches, authors offer a low-cost online technology assess feed. feedstuff under study includes cattle or compound consisting naturally-grown (green mass freshly cut grass, haylage, corn silage, etc.) concentrated components (grain milling, sunflower, soybean meal). proposed method based on RGB camera, diode lamp, filters, software is approved by preliminary physical properties mix Specim IQ hyperspectral camera revealing characteristics light absorption each type (concentrated/natural origin). presents processing image fixed through filters using Matlab Image Processing Toolbox tools, namely, Color Thresholder app Region Analyzer app.
